I built GameLauncher for my kids. They're forever asking to “make a game”— and every tool I tried wanted them to install something, sit through an hour of tutorials, or pay before they'd made anything fun at all.
So one weekend I started writing a little 2D engine. Then a place to build on top of it. Then a way to press one button and play together— because the best part was always the two of them chasing each other around a level they'd just made.
That's the whole idea: drag a few things together, hit play, and a minute later you're sending the link to a mate. No downloads. No sign-up to play. If my kids can build something on a rainy afternoon and play it with their cousins across the country — it's done its job.
